This beautiful garden theme path is the Original Sensory path from the viral hit video posted by Holly Barker Clay on Facebook in 2018. Using research-based sensory movements, this beautiful path helps reduce a child’s sensory seeking behaviors by utilizing the body to provide sensory input through a specialized series of movements as the child moves along the areas of the path. With over 80 feet of specialized planning, this beautiful Sensory Path will offer an aesthetically pleasing space that will engage kids to step, jump, balance and press which will reset their neurological system allowing their brain to cognitively function
Designed to change the child’s body position as he/she completes the course, it has the child focus on academic visuals, while moving the body in a specific order. As the child moves through the path, the body movements slow down or speed up, but work towards giving the proper sensory input without overstimulating the student. Our paths are all designed by using research-based sensory integration therapy techniques to decrease sensory seeking behaviors and increase cognition.
